Actor Shilpa Shinde, who is best known as the original Angoori Bhabhi on popular sitcom Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain, has confirmed she has been offered a role on Sony’s The Kapil Shama Show. These people are hugely talented and that is scary. I want my character to stand out. The actor said she is yet to take the call as she is a little intimidated by the talent on the show, which includes comedians like Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda. While I would love to share the stage with these actors but I don’t want to get lost amid them,” Shilpa told indianexpress.com

Shilpa Shinde will opt for weekend series over daily soaps. I don’t want people to say that she is back but in an insignificant way. We both are keen to work with each other and I am a huge fan of The Kapil Sharma Show. But I haven’t finalised anything because I am scared.
