Sharing about her equation with Aditya, Shraddha told indianexpress.com, “It was really fabulous working with him. The duo is back with Shaad Ali’s Ok Jaanu, which is an official remake of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film OK Kanmani. We are very comfortable with each other. Hope this camaraderie translates on screen.”

The 29-year-old actor also said that she and Aditya are excited about being seen in a light-hearted love story. I have a blast with him. “Considering, Ok Jaanu is in a fun space unlike Aashiqui which was in an intense space, we both were really excited that we will be seen in a new light,” Shraddha said. Shraddha said the film became a memorable experience because of the close friendship they share in real life and she hopes that the camaraderie is able to pull the audiences to theatres too. Aditya and Shraddha star as a young couple living together in Mumbai. We really enjoy each other’s company. We know each other really well and we are very good friends. Ok Jaanu has been co-produced by Ratnam and Karan Johar. Actor Shraddha Kapoor is set to romance Aditya Roy Kapur for a second time on screen, in Ok Jaanu. Shraddha and Aditya, who were previously rumoured to be dating, impressed one and all with their intense chemistry in the 2013 romantic drama Aashiqui 2. The film also has Naseeruddin Shah and Leela Samson playing their landlords and an older couple.
