Several top political leaders, cutting across party lines, and celebrities from different walks of life have eulogised one of the most influential political leaders of modern India. Kamal, who rather took his time to express his grief, posted a curt message on his Twitter page. “Deepest sympathies to everyone depend on Jayalalithaa.” This tweet has irked many, especially Jayalalithaa supporters, who have accused him of showing no respect to a departed soul. According to TV reports, Kamal has said that since he is in the US where he is shooting for his upcoming film, he was unable to pay his last respects in person to the late AIADMK chief.
