The director is said to be taking his own time to complete the shoot, which is being filmed in multiple cities across the country. Meanwhile, Tamil actor Bharath is the latest to join the star cast of the untitled project. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual film has SJ Suryah playing the antagonist and Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead. The film shooting is currently underway in Ahmedabad, where several fans of Mahesh thronged the shooting spot to lay eyes on their favourite star. The 2012 action film was also directed by Murugadoss. According to reports, the makers will announce the title on January 1. In an interview recently, one of the film’s producers Tagore Madhu has said that the upcoming bilingual film will be the 2.0 version of Vijay’s super hit film Thuppakki. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music for the film, while Santosh Sivan is handling the camera. However, Tagore clarified that it was one among the four titles that the makers have been considering. Mahesh Babu film will be 2.0 version of Vijay’s Thuppaki
Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and director AR Murugadoss’s maiden project has been making a lot of noise in the film industry since it went on floors in July. The film followed a secret operation of a soldier to rid Mumbai of sleeping cells and it was also remade in Hindi as Holiday with Akshay Kumar in the lead. Earlier, speculations were rife that the makers had zeroed in on the title, which was Sambhavami. He has been roped in to play an important role and details of his character will be kept under the wraps till the release of the film as it is said to be crucial from the story’s perspective.
