The former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister had been hospitalised in Chennai since a week “for optimisation of nutrition and hydration.”

Popular lyricists Vairamuthu also called on the leader to learn about his well being. Rajini had also lost his good friend Cho Ramaswamy, who passed away last week while he was under medical care.
